Racist Kuwait Airways Cabin Crew Member
I travelled on Kuwait Airways from London to Colombo on 17th of March with my wife and son. My flight from London to Kuwait was a very comfortable one. However, flight from Kuwait to Colombo (KU361). I had the most harrowing and humiliating experience in my entire life.
Please see below explanation on what exactly happened;
I took my four year old son to the toilet as I was walking towards the toilet one the steward called Yousuf walked in front of me. He said something in Arabic and pushed me and my son to aside. I stopped and asked what he said and told him that next time all he has to say is ‘excuse me’. He then just walked off without an apology. I was utterly flabbergasted by his reaction felt that I should make a complaint. I walked in to the galley and spoke to a stewardess and asked how I could make a complaint against said steward. Whilst talking to her Mr Yousuf. walked in and started shouting at me and pointing finger and saying you can complaint anyone you like. This was witnessed by several members of the cabin crew and one of the cabin crew members had to pull him away from me. This was witnessed by several passengers as well. I could not believe that someone who should be looking after paid customers could abuse them like this. Fellow passengers also were stunned the way I was treated.
I was then approached by Head of Cabin crew Mr. George, I explained the situation to him and requested that Mr Yousuf should come and apologise to me, which he never did. Mr. George also spoke to the passenger sitting behind me and that passenger also did confirm exactly what happened to me.
