Angry Spirit flight attendant told passenger "get off my plane"

My husband flew flight #300 from Myrtle Beach to New York at 9:15am on Saturday May 7th 2011. A flight attendant named "Ricky" was rude to the point of being physically threatening to him. When my husband discovered that his seat was not acceptable as a morbidly obese person was sitting next to him he calmly and very discreetly asked "Ricky" to help him find another seat so as not to embarrass this person. Ricky got very loud and basically told my husband "no" I am not helping you. My husband just sat in an empty seat and that was that until they arrived in NY. My husband told "Ricky" that he wasn't helpful or very nice. Ricky then proceeeded to tell my husband (who flies on Spirit at least 20 times a year and has for over 15 years) to "get the hell off HIS plane". In a very angry and very threatening manner. Ricky needs some customer services classes very badly or someone is going to get hurt. Badly done, spirit. Badly done. My number is 646-723-5491 if Spirit is interested in learning more about this nasty incident.

Please don't post your phone number or actual email address on an open forum. This could lead to a LOT of problems for you.

see gromit post

also, if you weren't there (if your husband told you this) then he may be exaggerating what happened a little bit to emphasize the story or his point, not saying it didn't happen but that it may have been a little different then the way it was described

in many jobs (not just airlines) when someone goes to them and practically says they are not doing their job (which sounds like your husband did by going out of his way to say he wasnt helpful or nice) then they won't take it nicely and many people wont just take it and let it go and they will say something about it

the problem was solved with no help but then it doesnt take too much to find an empty seat if it isnt a full flight, so there was little need to go up to "ricky" and make a comment, it was pointless and maybe done to get a response and in this case it sounds like there was and now you are complaining about it, sometimes people just need to let things go since it was after the fact or know that there could be a response

Already reported the post 24 hours ago but no action taken yet. And whose to say it's the OP's phone number? It could be his worst enemy's number.
