Stolen Wedding bands from Carry on luggage
Our wedding rings and other items were stolen from our luggage on United Airlines Flight 990 from Washington Dulles to Lagos Nigeria (with stopover in Accra). So we had a wedding with costume ring which was very sad.
The rings were stolen from our carry-on bag with was checked at the boarding gate at Washington Dulles because the overhead bins were full. In addition to this one of our luggage was delayed for 3 days, you can imagine the anxiety considering we had other wedding items in there. After sending several emails and making numerous phone calls, we still have not gotten a response from any United/Continental airlines staff/representation. We have traveled several times and have never had any issues with other airlines. We honestly will not fly this airline again based on this horrible experience. |
