I called Delta and was connected to a representative by the name of Keeta. I called to ask a question about eligibility for my upgrade certificates and proceeded to argue with this woman for 8 minutes because she felt she already knew the answer to my question without fully understanding what I was saying. Holy cow! I have never been treated so poorly in all my days. Where does Delta get these people? Isn't this the airline that "cares" about people? Wow, I don't even know why this woman still has a job. Treatment like this by a Delta representative continually goes unchecked. Will someone please reprimand this woman? We are the REASON for her work not the interruption of her work.

No matter how many complaints an employee generates they will never be reprimanded. Sometimes it's a union issue but airline management just generally doesn't want to deal with personnel issues.

Obnoxious customer is a proud Delta tradition. There is a toxic corporate culture in Delta.

Delta did respond, but they do not disclose the nature of any follow up, if there is any, with the employee in question. Whether it is due to union governance (as someone suggested) or just their gross lack of transparency, i will never know what happened to dear Keeta. It seems clear why such behavior from Delta employees continues. As a side note, the representative who fielded my complaint gave me 5000 bonus miles for the poor service I received.
