I was charged a $45.16 "transaction fee" because I paid the baggage fee of $50 with a credit card in the Poznan airport. Poznan LOT services now says to me that they "overcharged" me on the conversion of dollars to zloty. But a $20 fee for using a credit card is still outrageous and how many people have they scammed out of this excessive "transaction fee?"

I flew with Air Canada and it was Air Canada which contracted with LOT intercity to fly us from Poznan to Frankfort. LOT took advantage of the contractual obligations by charging their own fee of $60 and a "transaction fee." This, in my opinion, is a "gottcha" moment and almost like being pickpocketed at the airport. Here is their web site.
