BA2036's delayed by 4 hours will cause me to miss my onward flight to Malta on Air Malta despite being due to arrive at LGW 50 minutes before the flight.

My KM flight is on a separate ticket as BA's web site does not allow me to book that leg on the same ticket. Not my fault. We will have to transfer to air malta's flight out of Heathrow which is 10 hours later.

BA will not transfer our club tickets to Virgin's flight which is leaving on time and would allow us to get to the Malta connection as Club Ticket does not allow it. Let us be clear: THEIR self imposed restriction on the ticket does not allow them. Do not blame Virgin for this.

Nor will BA attempt to book us on the Malta flight or do something about transfers.

Being that I have flown BA to Orlando for a conference every January in 17 out of the last 18 years, most times in Club Class, you would have thought they would fix the problem caused by them.

Angrily sitting in the lounge. Guess which airline I may be booking with next year. I was once left in Johanesberg by Lufthansa having arrived 45 minutes before my flight because of a delayed connection. I got onto South African Airlines instead and have never flown Lufthansa since. Is there a message there?

if it is on separate tickets then they are not responsible for the 2nd flight, also british airways and british airways have no agreements that would allow them to transfer the ticket to virgin
