Cancellation of Etihad Guest Miles
 

Over 30,000 guest miles were deleted from my Etihad Guest account. The available information from Etihad is that Etihad Guest Miles are only valid for 2 years for Etihad Guest Members.


I have been trying to find out from Etihad whether the period of validity of the above miles was changed since they were earned but it is difficult to get an answer from their Etihad Guest Service Team at guest@etihadguest.com.


If they were to apply new expiry conditions to existing guest miles, and not just future miles, this would reduce the credibility of their Etihad Guest Miles programme. Any information on this would be appreciated.
