On-Flight Purchase-Czech Airlines
I had purchased a watch on board a flight from Prague to NY on Czech Airlines. The watch did not run after a battery was installed the day after I arrived in the US.. The airlines was contacted. Twice representatives of the airline wrote to me but did nothing after they realized that I had mailed back the watch to their Prague office, per their direction, and would not accept their claim that the watch had not been received. I had asked originally if I could deliver it to their NY office but they insisted it would have to be mailed to Prague. I question whether they ever planned to do anything about my claim. It appears they were just "stringing me along".

File a lawsuit in small claims court in NY documented exactly who you spoke to and when and what you did to get your problem resolved.

In any interactions with Czech Airlines (a/k/a "CSA" a/k/a/ "Czech Scam Artists"), use Discover credit card. This way, when Czech Airlines "English-speaking" representatives write you countless letters without refunding your ticket / defunct product, you can initiate a dispute with Discover Card and win. Czech Airlines don't know how to defend credit card / commercial disputes in the United States, for a myriad of reasons. Don't let Czech Airlines get away with their "activities." Always buy items from them, including your airline ticket, with a U.S. credit card.
