option of the 2pm flight to Newark
well, it would have nice if the employee had mentioned the 2pm flight. As you can imagine, I didn't have the entire Continental schedule memorized so wasn't able to ask. I also didn't happen to have a laptop in my hand to prompt her. She suggested we take a bus to Newark. It wasn't her fault and I'm not blaming her. I think Continental needs to recognize the many complaints and do a better job....maybe contact passengers when an incident has occurred and try to redirect us. We had plenty of time to drive to Boston.....I would have even driven to Newark had I known. I only needed another 90 minutes to make it happen and squandered 45 of that standing in line.
