Default Horrible stupid agents all around! Part 1

Eeek!

Just returned from a trip from Seattle.

Originally scheduled to fly from Houston IAH to Seattle on U.S. Airways. US On day of departure, I checked my confirmation # and flight departure. Turns out US Airways put me on a United flight that evening instead. I called Customer Service (cough cough), and asked why the rebooking on United? They told me the aircraft I was on had maintenance. They said here, go to the airport and you can check in there.

So, stupid, naive me, goes to the airport, to the gleaming, pretty United first class counters at IAH, then proceed to try to check in at the machine. Nope, it couldn't find my reservation. So I get Miss Thing (about late 40's older white woman), to assist. After 10 mins of trying she couldn't find the reservation. And kept shaking her head, saying, you don't have a reservation with us. I said yes I do, and I explained to her that US Airways story. She tries again, and says, well I found your confirmation # and your ticket #, but unfortunately, US Airways didn't actually create a ticket with United. WTF? I politely asked, what do you mean? You have a ticket #, so that means you have a ticket waiting for me correct? She says, no, we don't... (still trying to poke around in her computer...) Then she says, you'll have to go back to US Airways to sort it out, we don't have anything to do with it...and proceeds to give me this BULLSH*T condescending attitude to me, which lit_MY_FIRE.

I said, listen... get on the damn computer and the damn phone to get my ticket and do your job. Just then I got a call from United Airlines automated flight systems, telling me that my United flight is scheduled to take off in two hours, etc. So I turned to the stupid B*TCH and said, listen, are you going to help me or not? Finally she said, you don't have a ticket with us, you'll have to call US Airways to sort it out, and gave me that "too bad so sad" look on her face and shruged her shoulder. I told her, there are 3 pieces of information we have here:
1) I have a confirmation # for a flight on United.
2) There is a ticket # for the flight on United.
3) I'm getting calls from United telling me my flight is going to take off in two hours.

I Said... "WHAT THE HELL IS THE PROBLEM?" By this time this finally got her attention. I demanded to see "the supervisor" or manager. LOL. He was busy with someone else, and so I had to wait 10 minutes to speak with him. I began telling him what was going on. He apologized and said the same thing, you don't have a ticket. I said well I have a ticket # and a configmation #, why can't you all find the actual ticket??????? About then, I was almost screaming. Then, one of those people who help with bags behind the counter was just staring at me and started laughing at me. I said to him, "What the F*ck are YOU laughing at?" Then one of his coworkers said to him, "Go away, now.." which he did. That stupid SOB.

Finally.. after 10 minutes the manager finally produced the ticket and the boarding pass. I demanded to get everyone's name here. The original agent woman who I spoke to quickly turned around her badge and I demanded to see her badge which she refused. I asked the manager to tell me what her name was/is, and he said, "We're not allowed to tell others what the agents names are." OM _F_G.

I said, Listen, are you stupid jerks in the business of bullsh*t and playing games with people? It sure as hell looks like it.I grabbed my boarding pass and was on my way, but not before I went up to the original woman I spoke to and said, "Listen, obviously you're in the wrong business, because look at you, you've resorted to giving horrible customer service. You have problems, BIG problems and you shouldn't be dealing with the public."

She didn't say anything. But just walked away.

Many of these ticket agents are trained to be rude and stupid!

My return flight from Seattle is up next....

Learn to spell, dear. It helps to some, but others it doesn't make a difference. I'm with the later.
