Recently booked a trip to Europe using Delta Skymiles card. Most of the flights were on Delta with the exception of Alitalia. The Alitalia flight was the nastiest flight and plane I have ever been on. Two hours late leaving, the flight crew didn't give a damn, and sewage running out of bathrooms into the plane. But that's another story. Back to the trip, Delta changed our itinerary 5 times in four months and finally booked us on a connecting flight departing at 2:30 but the new connecting flight didn't even arrive until 3:30. There were six different flights scheduled on our trip and we had reserved seats on all. Delta changed all those and didn't bother to let us know. We finally ended up on US Air flights in middle seats by the bathroom paying bags fees because Delta canceled our flights and didn't reschedule any new ones. Don't bother with getting a Delta Skymiles card, it means nothing and you mean nothing to Delta. Fly Southwest, they are the only airline in the US that cares about passengers and isn't just trying to make money with bag fees, change fees, and credit cards.
