Default general discussion

After reading the complaints on it seems all airlines i am shocked at the way we,the public,human beings are being treated.Why is this allowed to go on?The airlines T/Cs are not in the favour of the passenger at all and it seems that a airline produced the first T/Cs and ALL airlines are using the same.My problems are with Air Berlin,but even my new carrier to Mallorca,we of course will not fly ever again with AB,is not easy to get on with.I booked a flight with Vueling ALC/PMI,no problem on the web.A couple of months later they emailed me to change the time,not really a disaster but had to change transport arrangements from house to airport and shuttle bus at Mallorca?Then another couple of months later another email,this time to change the DATE!They gave me a flight for the next day!I emailed them and told them i do not want to lose a day of our holiday.They said that is the option unless i can find another flight.I went back on the Vueling web and found a flight a day before,why they did not offer me that option as well i do not know.We rebooked the flight,i had to contact the hotel and book and pay for a extra night,change transport arrangements here and Mallorca!!!I asked Vueling what would have happened as we did not accept there option,and we could not get another flight,would i had been given a full refund.They to my disgust said i would not get a refund!!!This was all there doing,how could i be at fault and not get my money back?We all know that MOST airlines are ruthless,are not user-friendly,and some are barbaric!That is because know one seems to stand up against them and fight.I will continue to hassle AB until they respond,even if it is P--S of.They stole 268.28e of our pension,due to a wrongly worded page on there web site.And the page is still the same,it is a trap!!!!Although there i think not many English guys making a booking for there Spanish partner on the web?The next person to do it will be robbed like i was.Be VERY VERY careful when booking on the web,once paid you are at there mercy.IT IS VERY VERY WRONG.

Vueling misinformed you. They are legally required to refund your money if the change is greater than 4 hours. One of the big challenges customers face is the quality of staff. They hire stupid people who only know how to read a script off the screen. Many are stupid, others malevolent and resentful at fielding endless complaints from disgruntled customers. It is often best to write in these circumstances. They would not be able to refuse a refund under the circumstances you describe.
