Connecting flight UA9920 7/31/13
As no seats available to fly direct from TXL to EWR on 7/31/13, United booked us on partner airline Brussels Air but in the cheapest class of ticket Light economy. Not only was our carry-on baggage allowance decreased from 8 to 6 kg., no service was afforded free. We could not even get a glass of water, we were told we were in the "pay" section.
At $1400 per ticket R/T, the least United could have done was book us as a regular Economy ticket, thereby allowing us 8 kg. carry-on and a glass of water. |
