On Feb 9th 2010, in the immediate aftermath of the unprecidented Mid-Atlantic states' SnowMaggeden --which caused states-of-emergency preventing road travel-- I was booked on a flight out of Orlando...though trapped in the Mid-Atlantic! Road travel was prohibitted by the governor of the state of Delaware throughout the dates of snow fall...and into the following days...yet >>>JetBlue insisted I should have 'found a means of travel to Florida' to board that flight! Are they crazy???
After my initial telephone call, I emailed their customer service and was promised a credit to a newly-created TrueBlue account --that was in March 2010...now -June-and several contacts later...that credit has never materialized!!! To all future JetBlue customers: expect this level of discourtesy/greed should there ever be a matter where JetBlue can blame the prospective flyer for weather conditions which can allow JetBlue's confiscating the customer's money! |

Not reimbursing you, or waiving fees because of weather is standard operating procedure across the board with all (US) airlines I think you'll find. Jetblue, just like yourself, cannot control the weather. Keep hassling them about getting your points, I'm confident you'll get them eventually.

The weather is not their fault... but their lousy customer service is. This complaint is about the airlines pisspoor customer service. No action taken, despite promises..forcing the customer to have to make multiple contacts. It is crap... and whilst it is standard Delta practice, it is a shame to see otherwise good airlines like jetBlue fall into the same kind of behaviour.

It is a lousy policy for anyone traveling on a yucky day, but you can't blame the airlines for finding themselves not responsible for the weather. :\ If it's something such as maintenance on the other hand, airlines will take complete responsibility.

No one is blaming the airlines for the weather. The post is about the lousy service afterwards.
If you go to a ball game and it is cancelled due to the weather, don't you get a "rain check" to re-entry? Does that make it the Yankee's fault that it rained? Judge.. what the heck is the 55555 thing? I can usually understand your posts.. but WTF? lol |

I think it might be a Thai thing. It's a laugh. The Thai word for five is ha. I forget myself sometimes, which is not a bad thing.

Sooooo, you don't get the credit and instead of calling and letting them know (and probably getting the credits) you just come to some other website and complain??? And on top of that you needed to contact them 2-3 months ago. Give them a call and let them know that you still have not received the credits you were promised.
