Delta refuses to forward undelivered bag
After failing to deliver a bag on a flight from Tampa to Montreal, Delta refused to put the bag on the next flight to Montreal. We explained to the Delta agent that it was necessary to have the clothing and gear for a trip to a remote area of northern Canada the next day. Moreover, we called at least five times to plead with Delta to put the bag on the next flight, but they refused to do so. We had to purchase additional gear and clothting amounthing to $500 to just be able to survive the five days in the Artic. As I write this on July 4, the bag has not even been returned to our home. This is what Delta calls priority baggage handeling for Elite members. Delta's comment - we are sorry for the inconvenience. Do they intend to fix the problems they have? No. This company doesn't deserve to stay in business.
