First of all I would like to state that this isn't a complaint, more of a query with the hope of getting some help with a spelling mistake in my first name on a ticket for an upcoming flight to Bangkok in March.
The flights were booked last July and, on printing all the details out, my girlfriend noticed that there was an extra 'B' in my first name (so 'ROBBERT' rather then 'ROBERT'), my surname and other details are all correct. We've contacted the agent but all they could do was add a note to the booking highlighting that we've been in touch to try and correct the error. I have never flown as far as Bangkok and this will be my first trip with Etihad and I'm worried this mistake could completely ruin our holiday if I can't sort it beforehand.
I have seen a number of cases on this forum where Etihad have corrected similar mistakes for people and I'm hoping they can do the same for me? I would be very grateful if an Etihad representative could get in touch and help us out, even if it's just contact details for their Customer Services would be a start
