I was on a long international flight this week, and somehow managed to leave my brand new tablet computer on the plane when I got off. I was so tired, that I didn't even notice that I had left it until the next morning. I am still angry at myself for this mistake. It was left on the seat, so if it wasn't taken by any passengers, they should have found it pretty easily...
Any suggestions or success stories for retrieving a lost item? I have filled out the Delta lost items form on their website, but reviews I have found don't give me any hope. Is there really any value to go to the airport? I live about 2 hours away from the airport where I landed. It is very frustrating and disappointing to me that you have no way to track your lost items claim and cannot talk to anyone in person. Thanks for any insight! |
