Are you genuniely trying to help us to understand or are you deliberately missing the point? It is so frustrating.

Let's accept the following.

The fee of $75 is accepted
The fare is $191 is accepted.
Additional Tax of $13.33 is accepted.
Tax on the $75 of $9.75 is accepted.

Let's add these up now:

Fare $191.00
Fee $ 75.00
Tax $ 13.33
Tax $ 9.75
Total $289.08

He had a credit for $280.

Even on your calculation, AC needed to ask for $9 surely?
