A) SJU is not an international destination from the U S
B) Are you sure you weren't flying on American Airlines?
C) Airlines will generally not cover items like wheels and handles that are easily damaged. If you just purchased the
bag, it might still be under warranty by the manufacturer. I wouldn't waste my time with an airline claim.
