United flight delay again!
Again we are on a delayed United flight. This time it is UA241 LA to Honolulu. At first they announced it would be a five minute delay because the catering people were servicing the plane which we could see at 8:30 when we went to stand in line. We are always early or on time. Why can't the airline? They kept announcing 5 or fifteen minute delays. After about 45 minutes they announced that the catering truck was just pulling up to the plane. Why did they lie to us in the first place? Also, when my wife booked the flight they told her our Business class seats would fully recline, but they don't. Again, why lie to us? Our flight was scheduled to depart at 9:30. It is now about 10:15 and we are just getting ready to take off. We are frequent fliers with Premier status but we consistently have an inferior experience: delayed or cancelled flights, poor service, rude or unprofessional personnel, outdated aircraft with obsolete equipment. Their partner airlines are consistently better. Fly them or the competition.
