Any advice appreciated on how to get the ball rolling here....
I have been in correspondence with a rep in Etihad Guest Services dept. since Early February. After a series of unfortunate events, we did not get to enjoy our trip to Dubai and the rep (who was very helpful at the onset) promised to look into our case. It was later decided to grant a refund for all our tickets and when prompted I sent off all our banking information. I was told the process would take 2-3 wks but when a month passed and no deposit was made, I followed up with 3 emails to the rep over the course of 3 more wks, and one to the company's social media email. It was only when I put out a msg on FB that the rep contacted me stating she had sent a response (never got it), and that according to the finance dept they made a deposit. This never came to me and Ive been trying to get in contact with someone in that department of someone who can follow through and find out what happened. Since then I have sent two more email both of which have gone unanswered. Even a response to know they are working on it would be appreciated. It is not my style to "out people" or companies but I what else can I do to garner a response here? My case # can be sent upon PM request. |

I did receive a reply some 2 hrs after this post, for which I am grateful. This issue is still unresolved though. I hope to update this thread once that happens.

I am happy to report that I received a full refund cheque in the mail today! While not the quickest response that I envisioned, I must give credit that Etihad came through for us in the end. Thank you to Guest Services who assisted us and I will be happy to book with the airline in the future. I wish all the ppl in this thread a quick and speedy resolution to their dilemmas as well.
Happy endings do happen!!!
