Saturday 30 July flight AF2322 Paris Munich
Due to the lovely strikes France and AF are used to, we were informed the pilot had decided to go on strikes at the time of the boarding, and a smaller plane would be scheduled with a 2hours delays, but that not everyone would fit on the smaller plane. Fair enough, everyone got rescheduled on the smaller plane of the next ones....but that was without the checked in luggage: many passengers found out that their luggage was left in Paris and would not be delivererd before the next day to Luncih airport and before at least Tuesday at best because AF doesn t deliver on Sunday.
We are left with no info from AF since then
Morality, don t fly Air France during Summer when their lovely crew decide to go on strikes because that is where it hurts clients most, and simply don t fly Air France until their strikes report improve: for us it is the last time!

I agree with you! I was supposed to fly AF from Paris to Berlin on July 31, 2011. Because of the strike, I was put on another flight. I had to then fly from Paris to Stuttgart and then Stuttgart to Berlin. So i had to take Air France and then Lufthansa. Somehow, they "lost" my bag in between. I have already filed the complaint. My friends received their bags a day later.
On my way back to Paris, I was informed by an Air France employee that my bag had been "rejected' and did not even go on the flight. Then they told me that because Lufthansa was the last carrier, they were the responsible ones.
I have heard many horror stories after what happened to me, such as laptops being stolen in flight on AF, or baggage being lost forever in CDG airport.
I will never ever fly Air France again and I am telling everyone I know about what happened.
