We have to fly thru Charlotte each time--THE PITS. Flights are delayed and at Christmas we were on our way to the airport (TRI) and received a text msg. that all flights were cancelled (no explanation from anyone). When our dtr.-in-law called to ask where they could fly out of, the CSR asked what airport was near them, even tho they don't live in this area. When we arrived at the airport they were told they had to call the 800 number for help!. We have only had 1 connection in Charlotte out of 10 flights (friends and family) that was on time. I will do whatever I can to avoid flying U.S. Airways!!!

I changed my flight last May from arrival in Newark to Philly just so I could arrive on the day I was scheduled to! We had delay, after delay. First we were told the plane needed to be cleaned. Then we were told the plane had mechanical problems and would leave 3.5 hrs. late. Then they just stopped making excuses and kept "updating" us as to the revised take-off time.
