Thumbs down Ripped off by Continental/United

I booked a mileage awards flight from Newark, NJ to Tokyo and from Tokyo to Houston. Being a large man, I called asking to purchase the seat next to me in order not to impose on another and to be comfortable myself. I was told it was possible. Low and behold, the seats I had purchased were sold to another client. I was cheated/swindled! I wrote several emails because one can never talk with a representative unless they are after your money and I was NEVER contacted to settle my issue. Plus, I never got the miles due me because of my purchase. I will never use this airline again. Nothing but thieves! Beware!
