Hi there,
i was traveling from Johannesburg to new delhi via Abu-dhabi, i have been frequent traveler using Emirates airline before, i have been through one of the worst nightmare while i was traveling through Etihad airline recently. while i was catching my transit flight from Abu dhabi to new delhi airline security ppl put my handbag luggage inside the cargo, when i was boarding at the flight and try and resist not to put my hand luggage in the cargo because i was carrying expensive camera and some other equipment and i haven't had any lock with me to close my luggage hand bag, one of the security personnel took me off from the flight and put me inside the bus coach. afterwards he start yelling at me abusing me calling me Dog and emphasizing fact that he is locale Arab and he can put me in the jail to being offensive with airport security and have physical assault to security person. he took my passport away and says he calling the cops.
He continued to provoke me to have fight with me but i didnt involve myself in any kind of fight and keep listening to him, afterwards he verify my criminal checks with officials and let me free.
after this incident i decided to never travel through Etihad airways since i was innocent in this whole case and i was sacred because without knowing the laws in Abu Dhabi - UAE.
i have been traveling last 8 years worldwide including USA and Europe, this kind of racist attack i have never been through before. i want to know why he had such kind of personnel hatred against me?
I Need answers, i didnt contact to the authorities because i was very scared and had impression that UAE countries have very wired laws.
